Put your donation in the Tin Can at Student Night / Club Events by Aug. 4th to allow us to judge the amounts needed. This is a pot luck so please plan to bring a dish to pass and your own (nonalcoholic) beverage. If you have missed this event in past years you won't want to miss it this year. Join us for an evening of tips and techniques for maintaining your favorite 4 stroke. David has extensive experience in development and maintain high performance engines from automotive to models. Skymasters Meeting - Wednesday, January 27, 2010 - Larson Middle School. 2222 E. Long Lake Road, Troy - 7:00 PM Indoor Building Tools, Tips and Techniques. One of our special guests - Top Gun winner George Maiorana will be bringing his 100 inch 4 engine C-133 cargo aircraft. This work in progress is a must see for all modelers! Whether you fly electrics or not this is one airplane you need to see! Join us for an informative panel discussion on the latest ways to build your favorite indoor project. George Maiorana, Larry Boulet and Joe and Chris Hass will cover building lightweight foamies with epoxy, finishing techniques, unique water transfer decorations, variable pitch prop set ups, tools, supplies to make getting your indoor aircraft in the air sooner and much more. There will be a special discussion of radio setups and use of 2.4 spread spectrum for indoor flying. Tools supplied by RJRCoolTools.com. Part, supplies and accessories supplied by Flight Line Hobby, Prop Shop, RC Hobbies and Nankin Hobby. Bring your ideas and questions! Local modeler and designer Mark Freeland has created a variety of kits and accessories with a decidedly "retro" look but with the latest building techniques. The kits are phenomenal. The "Wire Wheels" will amaze you. Status: Meeting cancelled - Troy schools closed due to weather. We will reschedule Mark Freeland for another meeting.

Bald Mountain Involvement Day - Saturday, April 17, 2010 - Park Headquarters, Greenshield Road - 9:00 AM A day we give to the Park each year - to help get the Park ready for spring. Projects for everyone, from painting signs, repairing picnic tables, roofing shelters, wood splitting, etc. Come out and support your club - and the Park we fly in!!
