Open to everyone to come on out and share our potluck dinner each Wednesday. We eat at 6:00 p.m. rain or shine and the grille is fired up around 5:30 p.m. Bring whatever you want grilled and/or a dish to pass. We always try to have more than enough for visitors and guests... our weekly potluck is open to the public so stop by our Scripps Road Flying Field between M-24 and Joslyn in Lake Orion. Our flying field is part of Bald Mountain Recreation Area.
We also offer weekly dedicated Student Pilot Flight Instruction to teach you to fly RC aircraft. We offer instructions throughout the week but 5-8 p.m. on Wednesdays are set aside for student training. Get your AMA, Academy of Model Aeronautics membership first, (www.modelaircraft.org (http://www.modelaircraft.org)) and then join Skymasters and we'll teach you to fly!
