In every engagement this country has fought in "Our Troops" need a little extra love and support from home. Here is an opportunity to give them a little something extra to help them get through when times get tough. Come to the Jan. 26th membership meeting and help pack care boxes to be shipped overseas directly to them. Bring any of the following to the meeting and join Skymasters in this endeavor. • Food (non-perishable/no pork products) – Ravioli, Spaghetti O’s, Ramen noodle cups, Canned tuna/chicken, SPAM, Cookies, candy, Gum, Drink mix packets, Instant coffee, Trail mix, Canned fruit • Hygiene Products - Shower products, Shaving products, Cough drops, Foot powder, Tissues, Eye drops, Dark Color socks, Baby wipes, Antibacterial wipes, Chap stick, Foot ointment, Cough drops, Dental hygiene, Nail clippers • For our Military Women (no aerosol products) - Tampons, Pads, Hair ties (brown/black), Bobby pins • Recreational Items - Word games, Deflated balls with pump, Writing paper/pens, Magazines and books, Playing cards, Frisbees, Puzzles, Nerf balls• or make donation to help send each box (flat rate fee is $16.75 per box to ship and any donation would help out).

Skymasters Meetings/Symposiums:
 

Club meetings held throughout the year with a focus on sharing R/C information. All Welcome!

Skymasters RC Club became incorporated on June 22, 1976 and as such, we are required to hold meetings in accordance with our By-Laws. But these are not your typical club meetings!
Usually, our meetings (during September through May) are dedicated to providing information or entertainment regarding some aspect of radio control flying (videos, special guest speakers, how-to sessions, etc.) We have had a list of Nationally known speakers and manufacturers - some from this area, some traveling to see us.
Our intent is to keep the meetings fun. All are encouraged to bring your latest projects to show off - and maybe win a gift certificate!

Any member or guest is welcome to attend!

Event Details


From September thru May, there is typically at least one meeting per month held on Thursdays at the Orion Center in Lake Orion.
June thru August, meetings are typically at the field and usually very short!

The business of the club is conducted by our Executive Committee or Board of Directors, consisting of the elected officers and directors of the club. Anyone may attend the board meetings. Those interested, please contact an officer for location and times (typically held at Oxfor Library or the Field.)
