Where We Fly/Meet
 

Skymasters Field on Scripps Road, Lake Orion, MI

Our flying field is located in Bald Mountain Recreation Area on Scripps Road in Lake Orion between Joslyn Road and Lapeer Road (M-24) about 4 miles north of the Palace of Auburn Hills. We are 1 mile east of Joslyn Road and 1 mile west of M-24.
 
Pictured is the main flying area. South of the parking lot (left in the picture) is the new dedicated helicopter 3D flying area.

Club Meetings, Orion Community Center

Our regular club meetings are held at the Orion Community Center on Joslyn Road in Lake Orion between Scripps Road and Clarkston Road, just north of Canterbury Village, and south of Oakview Elementary School.

Float Flying at Trout Lake, Bald Mountain State Recreation Area

Periodic float flying - including the annual Chet Brady Memorial Float Fly - is held on Trout Lake, in Bald Mountain Recreation Area in Lake Orion. Use the main park entrance located on the east side of M-24, north of Silverbell, and south of Greenshield and Waldon roads.

Indoor Flying and Special Events, Ultimate Soccer Arena

Our Winter Indoor Flying and other Special Events are held at Ultimate Soccer Arena on South Blvd in Pontiac, just west of Opdyke Road.
 
Pictured is the main flying area - 365 foot by 260 foot flying area with ceiling heights from 45 to 75 feet. Separate flight lines for sport (racetrack) flying, micros, helicopters, and 3-D.
 
Their meeting facilities are used for some events as well.

Midwest Regional Float Fly, Seven Lakes State Park

Our annual Midwest Regional Float Fly is held on the beach of Big Seven Lake in Seven Lakes State Park, Holly, MI, just off I-75 (Exit 101).
 
Seven Lakes has been a venue for both spring and fall float flying.
