Our last event of the year and very popular! Never know what mother nature will bring - but always chili to eat and warmth of a fire!

This event is a full day of flying. Open flying from 10am till 8pm. Pilot prizes for participants.

Skymasters Field on Scripps Road, Lake Orion, MI

Our flying field is located in Bald Mountain Recreation Area on Scripps Road in Lake Orion between Joslyn Road and Lapeer Road (M-24) about 4 miles north of the Palace of Auburn Hills. We are 1 mile east of Joslyn Road and 1 mile west of M-24.
 
Pictured is the main flying area. South of the parking lot (left in the picture) is the new dedicated helicopter 3D flying area.

You wouldn't believe the number of dedicated pilots that come out on December 31st! Seven gallons of chili, and lots of flying later - we were all ready for the new year!
2009 Krazy Snow Fly
A few inches of snow, sun, and light winds led to a lot of flying to go with the famous Zabawa chili to keep us warm!

A few inches of snow fell the night before... Cold winds limited the flying, but plenty of chili for all!
2007 Krazy Snow Fly
Our last event of the year is always a popular one! A little white snow... a lot of red chili... and a lot of flying to end 2007. Happy New Year!

Mother Nature wasn't kind this year - not much flying, but still a lot of crazy... I mean dedicated pilots came out to join the fun. Plenty of chili for all to keep warm!
