Next time you're standing at our flightline and look across the runway and into the woods beyond you may realize that there is something missing in your view. Seems that mother nature has taken care of one of the largest trees to the west end of that low swamp area that over the years has captured (magnetically to balsa and foam) so many of our aircraft. I know that so many of us have cursed that tree and now it is gone and I am sure we will all grieve it's loss. Anyway, if you had any airplanes or parts in that tree from last summer or before, you may now be able to retrieve them, haha! It has been confirmed that the tree was not one but three major trunks shooting up to the sky and that due to decay they all three fell to the ground.
