Great Planes Trainer Forty
« on: July 24, 2015, 02:51:36 PM »
A neighbor gave me an old Great Planes Trainer Forty with an OS glow engine, servos, receiver, ESC and a Futaba 72 MHz radio. Also, an engine starter and a wooden tote box for equipment and tools. The plane was scratch built from a kit, but needs a lot of work to restore it, and probably a new engine and all new electronics. Is it this really worth the time and effort to save this plane? Unless, someone wants it all for free, I probably will just pitch the whole bit.

John,
If you want to and can - bring it out to student night this week - and let's take a look at it...
I'm sure someone can make use of the starter and tote box - and we can see what the plane looks like.
