I was at the store the other day and was getting out of my car. Someone, excitedly approached me and surprised me with their enthusiasm. He said, “I noticed your Skymasters decal on your car, do you guys fly multi-rotors at your club?”. I said yes and asked if he was familiar with our flying field on Scripps road and he said he wasn’t. I shared with him about our flying field and then our website address. He was genuinely excited and said he had a new quadcopter and was doing pretty good with it, but was wanting to get more proficient. Bottom line, we had a great conversation and because I have a Skymasters decal on my car I was able to promote Skymasters. What a simple way to get the word out about our club. I hope you have similar experiences and you excitedly share your love and enthusiasm for Skymasters. I do think that our flying field is one of the best kept secrets in Lake Orion and the area. That is both good and bad. but, imagine if you didn’t realize that there was such a flying field as Skymasters… wouldn’t you want someone to share with you about this great place?
